Videotech Updates

YOUTUBE NEWS - Youtube on your TV? What? For real? Well yeah, kinda, as long as you have a Sony Playstation 3 or a Nintendo Wii you can get all the worlds well made home videos on your TV, along with the rest of the studio controlled stuff that we cant live without. Lets count the outlets people now have to watch content you create. Computer. Check. Cell Phone. Check. Game Console. Check.Stay tuned as I expect video content to soon be available on your watch, your microwave door and electric shaver. All kidding aside this is pretty good news. Like I was telling some Hollywood network folks over the weekend that didnt really quite understand what I meant when I said that, "I am getting checks from Google/Youtube for the content that I create. I explained it as simple as I could. "Everytime somebody is watching something I made, they arent watching something you made." Does this mean I'm gonna go out and get a game system? No.

Consumer Videp Tips - Scott Bourne reviews the Canon HV30 Camcorder. Scott and I both like this camera for several reasons because it still uses Mini DV tapes, it has microphone inputs, a hot shoe, and you can monitor the audio return. Best of all you wont have to go into serious debt to buy it. If you are a Tech junkie sitting on the fence afraid to buy a camera, because you are afraid to miss the next big thing, quit reading about cameras and go and get this one, and start making videos already.
