I read a tweet from Angel Mcclinton this morning with a link to an article on Video SEO posers and the harm they can do by basically not knowing anything. I barely even know what an SEO does. My theory has always been to just make the most badass video you can, and throw it out there. If its a good video, people will like it. All of my most popular videos got views because of word of mouth. People email them to their friends, or embed them on blogs or social sites, and that how I get views. The good videos do better than the not so good videos and when I rarely look at my Youtube diagnostics. Views from Search Engines are usually low, and in the single digit percentage points. I think I can figure out what tags to use. Thank you very much.
